October 2009 - Prince & Davies and Belfield Architectural Solutions Open Day.
Prizes for our draw are kindly donated from local and supportive businesses with all monies raised going to Sophia's 'Make a Child Smile' Foundation. Sophia, daughter of ex Saints player Nicky Banger and his wife Stephanie, was born three months premature in November 2004, weighing just 2lb 14oz. Shortly after her birth a head scan revealed that Sophia had suffered a stroke leaving her with Cerebral Palsy.
Sophia and children with the same condition face many heartbreaking struggles on a daily basis. Their lives are supported with 24/7 parental care and the provision of basic but necessary equipment to assist them in their daily routine of life. The NHS is very good in providing the necessities for these children, but as these children grow older, they have dreams of being able to ride their first bicycle just like any other child. Unfortunately, to fulfill these dreams can be 10 times as expensive as providing a bicycle for an able bodied child, due to the special needs adaptations, and therefore beyond the reach of many families.
Part of our aim is to raise funds to help parents fulfill some of these dreams, which would normally be unreachable. It is not just a bicycle for these children. It is independence, fun, being able to interact with able bodied children at the “same level”. The exercise helps to strengthen their legs, build muscle and allows natural limb co-ordination combined with mental agility when directing the bicycle.

20th July 2009 - Home staging for a one bedroom coach house, Hedge End nr Southampton.
The client requested for our verbal consultation with extra help on designing a new kitchen prior to estate agents valuations on the property to sell.
With a minimal budget we were able to advise cost effective solutions using the larger part of the budget on the kitchen, bathroom and fixtures. The walls are to be painted in a neutral colour with a matching new neutral carpet throughout the house. Some items of furniture are going into storage to maximise space within the lounge. The outside courtyard will be spruced up with the addition of outdoor lighting and planting of pots to create an extension to their home.
The client has chosen to do the remodeling of the house themselves and will be providing pictures of various stages throughout the project to Prince & Davies. Many thanks guys!
